In the middle of last year, my husband surprised me near my birthday with the news that he had arranged for us to take a trip to New Zealand. Additionally, he set the trip up so we would be going with my best friend and her husband. As you can imagine, I was literally speechless when he gave me all of this wonderful news. Although I had always thought that New Zealand seemed like an amazing place, I had never gotten an opportunity to take a trip there.

Since my husband said that this trip was his gift to me, he took care of all the travel arrangements. I have to say that I was quite impressed with how well he handled making all of our travel arrangements. He used the Internet to do the majority of the preparation for our trip, and this seemed to work out quite well. For example, he reserved our rental car for New Zealand online, and when I saw the receipt for this reservation, I was impressed by how little he paid for the car rental we used in New Zealand.
