When I got back to college after my summer break, everyone was catching up with each other and talking about what they did during the summer. Although my friends had a lot of great stories, I don’t think any of their experiences compared to mine. I’m not trying to brag, but it’s hard to top spending an entire month in New Zealand.

If you are wondering how I managed to spend an entire month in New Zealand on a college kid’s budget, let’s just say that I got really lucky. In the middle of last semester, I was starting to get restless, and I began dreaming about taking a long vacation during the summer. I don’t exactly know how it happened, but one day I stumbled across an amazing vacation package online for a month long trip to New Zealand.

While I didn’t think there was anyway the price could be correct, after confirming that it was, I immediately booked the trip from my computer. I finished out my semester quite well (because I was so excited about my trip), and when summer came around, I headed off to New Zealand for an entire month.
