Although there a lot of different places around the world, many of them are quite similar. For example, even though there are a ton of cities throughout the United States, the majority of them are quite similar. Granted, every city has its own unique characteristics, but at the end of the day, most cities have a lot more in common than most people realize or admit.

While there are a lot of similar places around the world, there are also places that completely break out of the standard mold. In my opinion, one of these very special places is New Zealand. If you are wondering how I can make this claim, it is because I have experienced New Zealand first hand. In fact, it was less than a month ago when I was in New Zealand. I know some people think that it can be hard to truly understand a place after only visiting there on a vacation, but given the fact that I was in New Zealand for over three weeks, I feel like I have a pretty good insight into what this place is all about.
